Hey, your AMD build is showing up this way now. You’re planning to switch to AM5 but want a real upgrade. Those R7 5700X3D and R5 7500F seem solid budget picks, but are they just outdated versions of the Ryzen 7 5800X3D? Your other Intel build with the i5-12400 is close to the R5 7500F, so boosting the AM5 setup with a strong CPU and the RX 6800 16GB could be a smart move. Would you like some advice on what to upgrade next? You might consider selling your current components from that link and using the funds to get a new machine like the MSI B650 GAMING PLUS.

The 5700X3D and 7500F are incompatible parts, differing in sockets—AM4 versus AM5—and being from different generations. Selling them together as a bundle doesn't make sense.

I agree, great idea! With an i5-12400F on the Intel build, jumping to AM5 will definitely boost performance. It's cool how you're diving back into building—your persistence is impressive, even if you're not a strong gamer yet.

You want a clear explanation of these component choices and their implications, without getting bogged down in details. It seems you're unsure about whether certain parts are acceptable rejections or if you should prioritize performance upgrades based on your needs and budget. You also want advice tailored to your specific situation, like whether you prefer silicon-based chips or are open to alternatives.

Upgrading to AM5 is beneficial if you expect higher earnings later. Purchasing the 7500F version also makes sense since it offers a significant performance boost—about 7600x faster—without needing an IGPU.

I’ll begin with an affordable basic board, progressing step by step. I’ll stick to my Thermalright Peerless Assassin as the cooling solution. The 7500F model looks odd at just 65W TDP with only 32MB L3 cache—it must get quite hot, don’t you think?

Not even a rejection, 7500F matches the specs closely but lacks a box cooler. It’s more affordable if sold in your region, not at all. Extremely cold, possibly warm as spring with PBO enabled on dual towers—check Intel’s TDP. i9-13900KS:

A 100MHz lower clock speed remains a lower clock speed, and notably it lacks an iGPU. The absence of an iGPU is clear—it seems to be just a binning rejection for the 7600 or at least for the higher-end Ryzen 7000 series chips.

The sole incentive to opt for AM5 is to maintain future upgrade potential and access enhanced platform capabilities; purchasing a basic AM4 setup would reduce those advantages significantly. To be clear, avoid these options at all costs.
