Consider purchasing the R3 3300x 4C&8T 3.8Ghz with 18MB cache or the R5 3500 6C&6T 3.6Ghz with 19MB cache? Both options are similar in price. This setup is ideal for gaming and light video editing.

When prices match, choose the 3500. SMT isn’t able or willing to offer more than two additional physical cores.
