Ultimately it comes down to how much the processor prices vary. A 200 Mhz difference isn't crucial... you'll achieve better speed when the system launches and whatever else you plan to use will take advantage of multithreading and extra cores. The 2600 model includes the compact, low-mass Wraith Stealth cooler—adequate for its price, sufficient for the 2600 and keeping temperatures under 80°C. The 2700 model features the more robust Wraith Spire cooler, offering stronger cooling and better performance. The motherboard's VRM is a bit weaker, but it should manage both chips without issues. You can improve the setup by adding small heatsinks to the VRM—adhesive tape works well—and ensure the chip surfaces are clean before attaching them.
