You're allowed, though it might vary slightly. I'd prefer a set designed for high-speed use, rather than separate sticks that might not sync. The Kingston model runs at 1.4V, so opt for EXPO at 1.35V to avoid problems. That small difference of 0.5V can really impact stability.

I’m confused about the "Expo" part—could you clarify which one you mean?

EXPO is AMD's alternative to XMP. This will make sure your CPU works well with RAM. Even though some motherboard makers support XMP for AMD, it might not be as effective. Besides the Kingston model you mentioned, the other two options are EXPO. The G.skill without RGB is quite satisfactory.

The non-RGB version indicates its default is 4800MHz, but it's not 6000Hz. Please verify the details from the link you shared.

It runs at 6000MT/s when EXPO is active in the BIOS, matching the Kingston configuration. Without XMP enabled in the BIOS, it would drop to around 4800MT/s. This lower speed corresponds to the standard non-overclocked JEDEC rate. Reaching 6000MT/s requires overclocking the RAM, which XMP and EXPO handle by pushing it to the manufacturer's recommended limits while maintaining stability. It’s essentially the same process, just with RGB lighting added. It works fine for most purposes.

If I had access to the G skill flare (non-RGB), it would definitely be preferable.

It's more affordable compared to the RGB option. That's the only thing. Otherwise, they look almost the same.
