Want to boost your 7700K, currently owning Cryorigh H7 and aiming for the Kraken X62? It's out of stock at Newegg. Amazon has it but doesn’t accept PayPal and adds sales tax. What’s the next best option in terms of price or performance? I’m considering the X52, though I know it doesn’t cool as efficiently as the 280mm model. I have a NZXT S340 case (280mm) and a Phanteks P400 (360mm) that could fit the system, covering all possibilities. Or maybe wait for the X62—its RGB is really my favorite 😍

Detailed assessments of each cooler are necessary for accurate price comparisons.

I might choose the Kraken X61 ($119), even though I really like the X62's RGB design and effects.
Which would you prefer, the Kraken X52 ($149) or the X61 ($119)?
*Don't worry about it; I just discovered the EVGA CLC 280 and I'm almost certain that's the right fit for me. It will pair well with my EVGA GTX 1070.*

Don't opt for the x61, choose the x52 instead since you're leaning toward RGB, or go with the Celsius S24 from Fractal, which is one of the top cooling AIOs available.
The Kraken line isn't really the premium choice for cooling, just aesthetically pleasing.
Mount it on the front in the P400.
I've got an x61, let me tell you—I'm not biased, lol.

Chugalug_ :
Don't go with the x61, either get the x52 since you seem set on the RGB, or the Celsius S24 from Fractal, one of the best cooling AIOs around.
The Kraken series aren't actually top end for cooling, they just look nice.
Front mount it in the P400.
I have an x61, take it from me, i'm not biased lol.
What about the EVGA CLC 280? It seems to be slightly better than the X62 in cooling performance (faster fans I think).

The H115i previously had several leakage problems, which I generally dislike due to the number of RMA requests a few years back.

You're looking for alternatives to the Kraken X62 after it's sold out. Amazon doesn't accept PayPal and adds sales tax. You have options like the X52, but it may not cool as efficiently as the 280mm models. Your current cases are a NZXT S340 (280mm) and a Phanteks P400 (360mm), which should handle most cooling needs. The X62 is overpriced, and many brands are made by Asetek, including NZXT. The P400 offers better airflow for improved cooling. For high-end performance under heavy load, consider a top-tier air cooler like the Noctua BH-D15, which is quieter and more affordable. If budget isn't a concern, custom liquid cooling loops could yield better results.
