I was considering switching from my Crosshair VI Hero to the VIII Hero, but upon closer inspection, I realized the board lacks a USB 3.0 header. That won’t work with my new case that has four 3.0 ports. I’ve now explored other options and am evaluating the Strix X570 line. It’s available in E or F versions, though I’m unsure which is better. The main distinction is that the E model supports wireless connectivity and Bluetooth, while the F model does not. I’m staying within the ASUS family and need an RGB build for my RGB system. What are the advantages of each version? Are they really different, or just minor features?
The existing crosshair works perfectly, even on high-end systems. Upgrading for better RGB isn't necessary unless you specifically want that.
E has a 2.5gbitps Ethernet connection and also supports AX Wi-Fi or Wi-Fi 6. If you can afford the Ethernet, consider getting it.
Upgrading has two parts. First, I prefer the newer products. Second, I intend to pass on my older items to my son since he’s moving away from an FX CPU and motherboard. Third, I aim to avoid needing upgrades for a while. That’s three points in total.
F is merely a redesigned version of TUF with Intel 1G LAN. E features a solid 6-phase VRM for the core, whereas F and TUF (including Pro) use 4. This difference doesn’t affect your experience, just a confirmation that Asus invests effort to improve E over the other reskins.

For a brand new build, if you prefer ASUS, go for the E model—it offers better build quality compared to the F. The F feels more like a budget option, but it doesn’t match the TUF’s appearance.
