The i9 10900 usually stays in place, though I think using an overclocked GPU might help with encoding. The 5800X remains a solid choice.

For Nvidia GPUs like the 16 Super, 20 series, and 30 series, the 5800X is optimal. With AMD or older Nvidia models, choose the 10900; its integrated graphics feature Quicksync for better performance.

Reduce settings and use NVENC to optimize performance. A 5600x resolution should handle 3080 smoothly without major issues.
