They should cost roughly the same in my area. However, when looking at detailed specs on paper—like GHz, cores, and other known details—the Ryzen 7 3800X appears to outperform the Ryzen 5 5600 in every category. Is there a notable architectural change that would justify the higher price of the Ryzen 5? I’m curious if I missed something. P.S.: I think getting independent reviews first would be wise, especially since no one has mentioned this yet.

For demanding CPU tasks - 3800X - suitable for gaming - 5600 likely, though uncertainty remains.

Well theres also the thing called IPS (instructions per second). https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Instructions_per_second So speeds are only an indication, some CPU's are faster even tho have a lower clockspeed. (Also why 3 year old 5Ghz CPU cant even come close to CPU's now running at 4Ghz. just an example).

There exists a single cache pool used by all chiplets, which would significantly improve efficiency.
