3600 offers the most excellent performance for its price. The 9600k has almost no edge due to its single-core clock speed. Still, the 3700x clearly stands out as the superior choice in about 99% of cases.
You don't require the R7 3700X for gaming; consider saving the funds or allocating them elsewhere.
