You're considering an upgrade from your current Corsair Vengeance Pro RGB sticks to higher-capacity models. The 3200MHz sticks will run at the same speed as the 3000MHz ones, just with a different timing configuration. Since you're using XMP profiles, they should handle the timing adjustments automatically. It's not necessary to manually tweak the settings unless you want extra performance benefits. Given your CPU and motherboard specs, this upgrade seems reasonable and worth the effort.
I would simply receive a fresh set and retain the previous one as backup, sell it, or donate it.
Combining RAM from various types is seldom advisable. Certain RAM modules don’t support adjusting timings via XMP, DOCP, or manual settings, and mixing them may lead to instability. Personally, I have a 5900X with an Asus Tuf B550-PLUS and Patriot Viper DDR4-3200. Asus suggests specific timings, while DOCP lists different ones. The 16-18-18-36 timings won’t work at the 3200 MHz with those settings. If you must use them without buying new, consider checking eBay or Craigslist for available listings.
