Around 2017 I installed a 1920xThreadripper and am currently preparing it for relocation into a new enclosure. Since the original 8x4 model only fit six slots and wasn’t in the QVL, while all others functioned well and 24GB was sufficient, I’m considering upgrading to models on the list. I’m thinking about buying two dual-channel kits now and adding more later. Are there any performance changes to expect? Thanks. Edit: found my answer.
