I’m considering upgrading my MacBook Pro to a more suitable laptop for my needs. As a 3D character modeling and concept artist, I rely heavily on software such as Maya, Blender, Substance, ZBrush, Photoshop, and Adobe Suite. Over the next five years, I plan to be quite mobile and won’t have access to a desktop. I’m evaluating whether these laptops could offer a better experience. Would any of the models—Acer Predator Triton 500/700 or MSI GE66 Raider—perform better in this context, and is it worthwhile to invest at this stage?

From a performance standpoint, the outcome could vary.
You might find a Windows laptop that matches or surpasses a Mac.
Or it could be the opposite.
The software itself makes the distinction.
Although it appears identical, it isn't truly alike.
Blender, Maya, and Photoshop aren't exactly interchangeable.
They share similar capabilities but differ in controls.
And naturally, switching from Apple to Windows would likely require purchasing new equipment.

I am currently a student, so I’m relying on student subscriptions; therefore, the cost of the software isn’t an issue. I’ve mentioned them several times because they are tools I’ll be using, and I was wondering if someone could give my opinion on whether spending on a new machine is worthwhile from a performance standpoint.
