Please consider comparing the Lenovo Legion 5 2021 and the Asus Tuf A15 2022 based on:
1) Which offers the most stable hinges for a steadier screen?
2) Which provides a better keyboard typing experience.
3) Are there other suggestions for build quality and hinges under $1,000?
Assuming both models are similar in these aspects.

I can't comment about those specific models, but I have an ASUS G75VX that is more than 10 years old. The hinges are still in great shape and have no wobble. The keyboard also works well. I use it for typing up stuff for my university classes, and the backlit keys are great to have.
