Comparing League of Legends FOV at 1080p and 1440p.
The difference in field of view between 1080p and 1440p in League of Legends is noticeable. You’re considering the ASUS ROG PG278Q, which offers a good balance, but you’re curious about whether a higher resolution provides a wider FOV. 1440p delivers a significantly larger screen size compared to 1080p, which can enhance immersion. If you’re looking for more of a broad view without compromising performance, 1440p might be ideal. Let me know if you need further guidance!
FOV remains constant; only pixel count changes during higher resolution.
For a wider field of view, consider a 21:9 monitor or a larger setup, though I don't strongly support the latter. Audio quality is confined to my main monitor, and navigating with the mouse becomes harder in free view since the edges stretch much further. It appears better but doesn't improve performance.
Thanks for the assistance. I think a single monitor at 21:9 would work best. A triple 1080 monitor seems overkill, especially with the concern about large bezels when placed together. Smaller bezels would help maintain better panel spacing. Appreciate the help!
