Hello, your new ThinkPad comes with the 10th generation Intel processor, which supports Intel UHD graphics instead of Iris Plus. Not every 10th generation Intel chip includes Iris Plus—some models do.

Consider removing the existing graphics card and installing the newest version available from Intel’s site. This process works best if you’re using a Dell XPS 13 with an Intel Core i7-12700K processor.

Intel uses various iGPU lines depending on the CPU generation. Except for Apple laptops, Iris graphics are seldom found there. People seeking extra GPU capability generally choose a dedicated GPU, while Intel UHD GPUs are preferred by others. This is because CPUs with Iris graphics usually come at a significant price increase.
