Hi, here are your computer details: Intel i5 8400, 8GB DDR4 RAM, DD4 architecture, 2800 MHz processor. You mainly use the GT610 for gaming and other tasks. I’ve noticed your built-in graphics perform better than the GT610. There’s more info on clock speeds and shader performance that could help you decide which one gives you the best results. What do you think?

The UHD 630 performs better in general tasks. Comparing clock speeds isn't straightforward since GPUs from different manufacturers vary.

This model performs better than others. The 610 is outdated and poor quality.

The GT 610 shines mainly for video playback and minimal competitive gaming (like Valorant at 1360x768p). The UHD 630 performs better.

Choose integrated graphics unless you're constantly low on RAM. They provide improved performance in most scenarios while using less power and streamlining your setup. The GT 610 works well for multi-monitor setups needing extra display space. But if you're limited to just 8GB of RAM, switching may cause noticeable slowdowns. Integrated graphics rely on a chunk of system memory, so monitor usage closely after the change.

I'll link my monitor to the CPU and update the Intel driver. Since my MOBO doesn't have an HDMI port, I'll use a DSUB cable. Does this impact performance? Also, when I ran the most demanding application, War Thunder consumed 6672 MB of RAM. If I used integrated graphics, would that deplete my memory?

The cable won't affect performance unless you require a higher resolution than 1920x1200 or a refresh rate above 60Hz, since 1920x1200 at 60fps is the limit for DBUS (VGA). You could run out of RAM, so keep that in mind. Try it and observe the results. If performance drops further, it's likely the cause.
