Comparing gaming laptops to ITX builds
Comparing gaming laptops to ITX builds
For traveling, I suggest using a laptop because:
When flying, your device might exceed carry-on limits, fail size requirements, or need to be checked in. You probably don’t want someone handling it.
Additionally, during long layovers at airports, many places offer convenient spots for laptop charging and work.
If you’re opting for an ITX build, you’ll need a monitor—though TVs in hotels aren’t practical for computer use and moving one is unnecessary unless it’s wall-mounted.
On the other hand, if most of your trips are by car, a Mini ITX desktop works but still adds extra items to carry.
I personally prefer avoiding extra trips to my vehicle when staying in hotels.
