They never mentioned that 16BG wouldn't suffice, right? It's for nearly every gamer who just plays or streams occasionally. You brought up some solid arguments, and I think it makes sense to purchase the 4x8 kit as well. Appreciate your feedback... also, I understand a bit of frustration toward Gskill, but I get where you're coming from.

Dual Rank performs marginally better than Single Rank under identical channel and frequency settings. Quad Channel offers double the speed of Dual Channel, which matches the performance of Single Channel twice. Quad Channel Single Rank is nearly double the speed of Dual Channel Dual Rank. A HEDT platform is required for Quad or Hexa Channel configurations. Higher frequency combined with lower latency in Single Rank still provides an edge over Dual Rank. Running four times Single Rank on a Dual Channel board is more efficient than using two times Dual Rank.
