For gaming, here are the options: AMD Ryzen 7 7700 non-x or Intel Core i5-13600KF. Since you don’t do video editing, let me know which one fits your needs better!

You might want to choose the Ryzen 7700 because it offers better efficiency with its 65W TDP compared to the 125W of the 13600KF. It delivers similar performance while being slightly less powerful, especially when using Windows 11 to leverage the hybrid design of P-Cores and E-Cores. However, it’s a bit pricier than the 13600KF according to PC Part Picker. Think about what you can accomplish with these details.

As an owner of the 7700x, I can highly recommend the 7700 non x. In gaming, its faster than the 13600KF and you will have more futureproof ( I hate this word ) as you can put in a 8800X3D in 3 years once released on the AM5 platform, new GPU and have a 'brand new system' for a few more years. Here is a written techspot ( Hardware Unboxed ) article regarding the non X series, scroll down to gaming for your needs I will also post 2 pictures from their youtube channel with a 10 game average at 1080p and 1440p with an RTX 4090, you can see the 7700 non X be very fast in gaming. AND it comes with a stock cooler that is adequate, but you may want a Peerless Assassin SE120 too This is my first time going AMD after being intel only with Q6600 - i7-950 - 6600k and 9900k. I dont regret going AM5 this time, its fantastic. https://www.techspot.com/review/2602-amd...7700-7900/
