I own a Sony Xperia Z2 equipped with top-tier hardware and it's rooted. It runs the Snapdragon S801 with 3GB of RAM. I frequently use Skype and sometimes need to switch to browsing while on a call. Chrome works fine, but Skype tends to crash whenever a page loads. It looks like Skype is being pushed out of memory if it were removed from multitasking. Do you know any memory management tools or Xposed modules that can prioritize an app even when it's in the background? Any suggestions would be appreciated. I've struggled with this issue for years—was worse on my Motorola G, where RAM was quickly exhausted—but it still lingers on my new phone.

You're puzzled because you expected better assistance from a Microsoft service when using it on a Google device.

It doesn't really matter anymore, does it? I just need it to function. I'm ready to put in the effort if needed.
