I've got a few options to consider: an AMD Ryzen 5 3600XT with MSI MAG B550M, and a couple of Intel Core i5 11400F models. The AMD model is about $50 more than the Intel one. For your needs—gaming and maybe some streaming—I'm looking for a long-term perspective, not rushing into upgrades. What do you think about which one would perform better over time?
It's tough to say, but the 11400f seems like the better choice, particularly if you don't plan to upgrade. The 3600xr can be upgraded to a 5950x, but the 11400f performs much better.
