Very apparent. It's similar to the contrast between day and night. A 144hz frequency is simply twice as quick as a 60hz rate, which shouldn't be hard to notice.

Indeed. Using different monitors at 60Hz makes it difficult for me to keep up with fast mouse movements.

Unless you're shooting at 60 frames per second, I favor 50 hertz to 60 hertz.
