Hey, I'm checking out a 4790k with 4.5GHz on a Z87X-OC board. Got 16GB 2400MHz RAM and the GTX1070. Thinking about upgrading to a Ryzen 3000?
I mainly enjoy playing on 1440p and I believe I should hold off until the next update.
I own a 4790k on a cooked Asrock H97M. I was thinking about selling the i7 and using it to upgrade to a more affordable x570 Aorus, aiming to build an AM4 motherboard. Based on what’s shared here, I’ll stick with that plan but if the motherboard wasn’t cooked, I’d likely keep the 4790k since it offers great value over five years.
