The price variation is roughly 30 euros. It depends on whether the savings justify it or if the difference is minor.

Consider options for 16 or 32GB, Intel or AMD. A 32GB kit seems like a reasonable choice. A 16GB kit isn’t compatible with Intel, but it’s feasible with AMD.

Purchase two 8's to ensure dual channel operation and use 3600MHz for optimal CPU performance.

The dual channel setup offers better performance and efficiency. Upgrading later isn't necessarily smarter—it just depends on your needs and budget.

Dual channel offers superior performance. It's preferable to have 2x8 or 2x16 connections. Using a single 1x16 will result in poor performance until you later upgrade to another 16 for dual functionality.

More lanes available for accessing identical data. Like the benefits you notice with NVME versus SATA. Or marginally faster speeds from a single drive using RAID0. It matters less for Intel but crucial for Ryzen memory selection due to the way the Infinity Fabric connects RAM and CPU cores.
