I understand this might have been asked before, but I’m struggling to figure out which tool gives the most reliable core voltage reading. My BIOS sets it at 1.4, yet Hwmonitor displays different values depending on load—between 1.225 and 1.235 under full load, and 1.36 to 1.37 in idle. CPU-Z shows 1.37 during full load and 1.508 to 1.528 when idle. Is this the correct voltage? And is it normal behavior? I’m especially concerned with my 11900k an z590 maximus extreme.

HWMonitor is not reliable for any purpose. HWInfo is the better choice for everyone.

For precise results, employ hardware probes. Software cannot guarantee 100% accurate voltage readings.

I understand you're seeking a more precise answer. The discrepancy of over 0.1V suggests an issue with the data or measurement.

I set up Hwinfo and it displays similar information to Hwmonitor. CPU-Z appears significantly inaccurate, with readings exceeding 0.1V.

It's within acceptable limits for software, but the motherboard sensors aren't very precise. If you're concerned this much, consider using physical hardware instead.
