Resizable bar must be compatible with all three main system parts: CPU, motherboard, and graphics card. Your CPU and motherboard should work if your BIOS is current. The only Nvidia consumer graphics cards that support re-bar are the 3000 series, though some non-consumer models also offer this. Whether you can run it with a Tesla M40 depends on other factors, as getting the card functional for general use can be challenging. Do you know how you plan to keep the card cool?

No and from what I can tell from enabling it on my system, there really isn't any reason to bother. If there is a performance increase, for now it's only noticeable on benchmarks. For regular use, I have not noticed any difference between ReBAR on and off.

Someone on Reddit suggested it might be necessary for the Tesla M40, but I’m still unsure. The quote says older consumer boards usually don’t support BAR space over 32GB, which the M40 needs. So it seems my motherboard should handle more than 32GB? That’s confusing, but if I figure it out, I’m good. Updated January 15, 2022 by InertEvening67

I reviewed a few tutorials and it seems the process isn't that complicated to configure in a Windows 10 setup. For cooling, I'm still unsure whether connecting two 40-millimeter fans directly to the heatsink works well or if using a powerful fan with plastic barriers for airflow is better.
