I built a new PC and am curious about its performance. I need reliable benchmark tools to assess it properly. I have many options in the market, but I want something solid without wasting money. Any suggestions for top-rated benchmarks?

I own the 3DMARK steam installer. It's great to test your machine, I also used it to see the performance boost from overclocking. For testing or checking drive speeds I rely on Crystaldiskmark. 3DMARK might not always be useful, but I got it discounted during the summer sale ^^

For GPU evaluations I rely on Heaven or Valley, they consistently push the card to its limits. For CPU checks I use AIDA 64, which doesn’t provide scores but verifies stability. OCCT is another solid tool for comprehensive system testing and it’s free.

For the processor, employ Cinebench.

3DMark06 is worth trying too. For a more traditional option, the Super Pi Mod 1M test is another good choice.
