Maybe. I find the concept of AppLocker appealing, especially the option to encrypt my hard drive. I also recall being told I could finally set a GIF as my wallpaper and make it play.

You don't need to, mostly everything is set up like Premium, but you can customize the extra options in Ultimate if you wish.

It's not just one poor feature. Ultimate supports up to 192 GB of RAM, whereas Home Premium is limited to just 16 GB on 64-bit systems.

This version offers more control and flexibility compared to the Premium edition. Since I own it, and my existing setup is somewhat heavy, I’m looking for a lighter alternative. The drive I’m using is a 70GB SSD (120GB total), and I’m not sure why it’s this size. It’s not about games, just general performance improvements.
