1.) which option performs better for gaming?
2.) why does Windows 7 still receive more support compared to newer systems like .NET 4.7? It lacks compatibility with many drivers and features, while everything else remains functional. Thanks.

Since Windows 8.0 received mostly negative feedback and poor adoption, it’s clear it wasn’t the right choice. Now it seems Windows 10 is a better option.

Windows 10 offers the best experience for gaming, I haven’t faced any problems with it. Windows 8 seems terrible, and support for Windows 7 will stop soon—upgrading is the smart choice.

Imo there's no Win8. Only 8.1. And if you don't own either, buy neither. Win7 looses support next year officially, and few years after that unofficially. Win8.1 comes right after it. Win10 isn't as bad as some conspiracy theory wizards here claim.

Thanks. I’ll never rely on Windows 10 again. I’d rather end my PC usage completely or move to Linux instead.

It's probable Microsoft will follow Apple’s path and refrain from launching a new OS release. They’ll keep refining version 10, and eventually other well-known programs may cease supporting older Windows editions. This pattern occurred with XP and Vista, where services like Steam and Chrome stopped working. The deadline for updates has already expired.
