You should choose Windows 10 for gaming since it offers better performance and newer features. If you're on Windows 8, consider upgrading to Windows 10 for a smoother experience.

It works more effectively, and after you configure it, it performs much better than what others claim.

If you grew fond of the Windows 7 interface but disliked the newer Windows 8.1 look, StartIsBack seems a solid choice. At just $3 for a license, it offers a decent trial period. I highly suggest it since it’s now available on three devices in my home—possibly more soon. I might have another Windows 8.1 copy waiting, which gives me the motivation to finally assemble my own machine.

Absolutely, 8.1 is a solid choice if the interface isn't to your liking—star8 or classic shell are great alternatives.

Sure, I can try to assist. The Windows 8.1 setup sometimes hangs around 82% completion. Let's see if we can fix it.

Through the Store? Not sure, I didn’t encounter that problem. I think it’s best to just let MS’s server handle it.

It could be that I recently purchased a new graphics card and power supply unit, after which everything functioned properly.
