Compare Windows 10 Home and Windows 10 Pro to see their differences.
In a few days I plan to set up either Home or Pro on a fresh machine. When I search online or talk to others, I don’t always get clear, useful answers. It seems like it will mainly run Chrome, games, and sometimes streaming. I’ve received a key from Kinguin, so the prices should match. Most YouTubers install Pro, but why? Which version performs better? Why would someone choose one over the other?
Pro offers additional capabilities such as joining a domain and using BitLocker encryption. Neither provides superior performance compared to the other. The decision between them depends on personal needs—whether you require domain access, BitLocker, or group policy management. For instance, managing group policy might involve preventing Windows from downloading updates automatically and requiring manual installation instead.
I’d pick pro since it gives you access to group policy, offering greater network management. Honestly, for most users, the difference isn’t significant.
