They'll each come with a 5700 xt, and both RAM sets are G SKILL Ripjaws V (cl16).

RAM speed isn't the sole factor to consider. A calculator could help you decide when to purchase the 3600XT or the 3600, especially if you're ready for its launch. Pairing it with quality RAM makes a noticeable difference. The price gap between the two models isn't huge, especially if they share similar CAS latency.

You're looking to find the optimal match for gaming. What kind of games are you interested in?

It seems the issue isn't with RAM or CPU performance. It depends on your game choices and refresh settings, but at about 75 fps my frame rate stays around 30-55% most of the time. This pattern holds across the games I play, and even though Rainmeter, 5 docks, and numerous launchers are running in the background, my setup uses 3200 MHz CL 16 HyperX sticks.

This setup offers strong performance with a 2700x display and a 3080 Ti processor. The 2x16 3600 cl18 RAM provides ample memory for multitasking and demanding applications.
