Hey there, how are you? I'm checking out a new motherboard for my living room PC and need to decide between the MSI B450M Pro-M2 Max and the Gigabyte B550M AORUS Elite AM4. The price gap is around £20, so it's worth considering. I found some links for comparison: one shows the Gigabyte model and another the MSI version.
Regarding your second point, both boards have two PCI-E X16 slots—one for Gen 4 and one for Gen 3. Will that support running your graphics card at full speed alongside an Elgato 4K60 Pro using X4? Also, with the Ryzen 3 3100, 6GB RX 5600 XT, 16GB DDR4 memory, and the SeaSonic Core GC500 power supply, should there be no bottlenecks? Let me know your thoughts!
There are decent options that work with that CPU. For the lowest cost, the MSI B450M Mortar MAX offers good value under £50. Regarding PCIe Gen 4, it’s usually unnecessary for your GPU. You can find more details here: https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B07WC6LLB6?t...th=1&psc=1
The Ethernet connection isn't working, and plugging in the cable doesn't produce any response. I resolved it before with a PCI-E X1 card, but now the 5600 XT is too bulky and blocks the port.

Ah right ok. The B450M Mortar MAX I mentioned would be plenty for that cpu. The only thing that might be a downside is that the 2nd pcie slot is only pcie 2.0x4 so not sure how that would affect the capture card. So if you want to play it safe then B550 is the better option. The next thing is if you ever want to upgrade the cpu then the Aorus Pro has the better VRM out of the two Gigabyte boards. The Aorus Elite will still be fine with an 8 core like the 5800X though. So unless you want to get a 5900X/5950X then the Elite is fine and saves some money. If you don't plan on a cpu upgrade and want something cheaper on B550 then the DS3H is only £66 on Amazon. The bottom pcie slot is gen 3.0x4. https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B089TNX9YT?t...th=1&psc=1
