Choose the model with the quickest gaming speed. You have a 6600XT GPU and don’t want Vega IGPS. For the 5600G, IPC varies but still works similarly.

They’re extremely close; the 5600X has a slight edge. I recommend at least an 8-core processor. If you’re starting fresh with both board and CPU, opt for an Intel i5 12400f or go with the i5 10400f if you need to stay within budget.

They both have six Ryzen 2 cores. The 5600G offers a bit more cache and a slightly faster clock speed. The A3600X wouldn’t provide much improvement. A 5600X would, however.

UserBenchmark is extremely unreliable and must be avoided. Consult verified performance tests from a credible source instead.

The 5600G delivers solid performance, outperforming the 3600X by roughly 8% in 1080p settings. It shows consistent gains across various titles, making it a strong choice for gamers seeking better speed.

Being close to the micro center means the 5800x costs just 299, matching the 5600x MSRP.

Confirm the motherboard can support sufficient VRM power for a 5800X. Some options have notably poor VRM performance.
