Comparing the two processors makes sense given the price difference. In your region, both models are similarly priced, which is a good sign. I prefer stronger performance for handling multiple tasks. Regarding the B450 motherboard, it should support the Ryzen 7 2700 without issues.

Also the B450 works for a 2700, but pay attention to the weak VRMs, limited features, and slower DDR4 speeds on boards older than x470. It could also fit an R5 3600, though I wouldn't suggest anything below an MSI Gaming Pro Carbon X470.
