Considering your Ryzen 3 2200G, it makes sense to weigh the options carefully. Spending $129 on the R5 2600X or $30 more for the R5 3600 could be worthwhile depending on your needs. Since you already have an RX 580, you likely don’t require the older graphics card. You might want to focus on performance and value rather than just cost.
It seems you believe your approach could work if you save $30 to achieve comparable outcomes in gaming and streaming. Microcenter offers both options at reasonable prices.
I can achieve 60fps in-game and streaming at 1080p. The issue seems to be either streaming and playing at low resolutions where I still get 60fps, or streaming and playing at higher settings where my stream drops significantly. Even when not streaming, high settings only give me around 50fps (COD: Modern Warfare).
Consider the 3600 option for streaming too; it offers those additional core benefits compared to the 3300x
It's great to hear you're feeling confident about your setup! Just beyond the CPU, everything seems in place for a smooth build.
