The $10 difference between your countries is worth considering. Which option suits you better depends on your needs and preferences.

It depends on your use case. The 3300X performs better in gaming thanks to higher IPC and single-threaded speed. The 2600 excels for tasks requiring more threads, like video editing and virtual machine management.

I intend to engage in gaming, create Roblox animations, and edit medium videos.

I’d consider the Ryzen 5 2600 if you’re not focused on gaming on a high refresh display because of its extra multi-threaded speed, though it’s really a close call. Either choice should deliver solid performance compared to the Athlon X4 845.

3300x is almost the same as Ryzen 5 2600, but it’s still a good option since it’s not available yet. I’d choose the 3300x instead.

Consider a 1600 af 2. When unavailable, upgrade to a 3300x Better ipc and imc, plus an improved fpu—this will ensure the 3300x performance matches the 2600 in multi-threaded scenarios.
