The 3rd gen chips are still viable if you're flexible on budget, but the 3400G gives you a better balance of power and value right now.

It’s not recommended to go stock cooler on this. I was thinking about getting a Cryorig M9 Plus, but I’m unsure because it’s relatively inexpensive.
