Compare SSD, RAM, and games to decide what suits you best.
I've purchased some games already and plan to buy more soon. I expect extra money around Christmas. I'm trying to decide between an SSD, more RAM, or a new game. My main choice seems to be Fallout 4 since I just got Witcher III with DLCs and a few others. Here are my PC specs: CPU FX-8320 @ 4GHz, cooler Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO, GPU XFX R9 280 MOBO, ASUS M5A97 R2.0 RAM Corsair Vengeance Pro 8GB (2x4) at 2133MHz, HDD Seagate Barracuda 1TB, PSU Fractal Design Tesla R2 650W, case Cooler Master N300 ATX Mid Tower. I found these SSDs: Intenso Top Performance III 128GB, HyperX Fury 120GB, Kingston SSDNow V300 120GB, Corsair SSD Force Series LS 120GB, and Sandisk SSD Plus 128GB. I checked one site but will explore others for better options. The RAM price here in Sweden is around 50 euros, which is quite low compared to typical costs; usually it's between 70-80 euros. My main need is the SSD because Skyrim mods can slow down loading times a lot. Also, I want to know if different RAM types work together.
The PC setup is currently empty. Please avoid combining RAM speeds, capacities, and brands to prevent issues.
I haven't checked the links yet. You might want to explore more options—there could be great deals in Sweden this Christmas!
