The 3500x performance matches the 3100, meaning both are equally solid options.

Is this related to your language or background? The answer might vary based on whether your setup prioritizes threads or cores.

If they match my expectations, I’d pick the Ryzen 3100 because most apps run smoothly with four cores, especially for gaming.

I'm not from the Philippines, but I'm working on 1080p editing and gaming with an AMD Ryzen 9 9800. I really need a better upgrade.

Acquire the Ryzen 5 3500X. The 3100 features a less-than-ideal CCD arrangement and will deliver much poorer results overall, particularly in gaming, because of the delay between its two dual-core CCXs. Cheers

It seems the 3500X might be a better fit. The main issue is my lack of knowledge about its performance characteristics. While it has more physical cores, which isn't always relevant, comparing it based on this could help. Just knowing it has more cores might give you a clearer idea.
