I plan to reset the CMOS and reinstall XMP settings today. I'm still learning about XMP and overclocking in general. My 3200Mhz RAM using XMP would show it as 3200, but I think it actually reports around 3212Mhz, causing blue screens and restarts. My older 1600 model would also freeze at 60 FPS or less. But raising the frequency from 2133Mhz to 3000 usually brings it up to around 100 Fps or more. Now with 3000 on my new 3600 it doesn’t seem to make a difference. Thanks for the advice. Edit: Just played Cyberpunk 2077 for about five minutes and my CPU was handling most of the load at 70%—the GPU was barely active, around 20%.
It's great to hear you're making progress. I remember having to reset the CMOS, probably. After that, I set the RAM to XMP profile at 3000 and it really improved performance. In GTA 4, the frame rate jumped from around 30-60 FPS to about 160 FPS, which is a big difference compared to my previous 1600 FPS. Thanks for the support!
