Not really unless you're focused on productivity. In gaming, the difference is minimal.

It seems like a sort of upgrade that would increase the lifetime of the PC but even now is only better by like 10% percent or so. Maybe something like rendering would show a benefit, but upgrading purely to play games or browse the internet likely wouldn't show a huge bump(of course there would be a small bump in performance but justifying it for the price seems unlikely).

The i9 11900k offers a 11700k base clock, yet delivers a 200MHz boost. The 10900k provides two extra cores but underperforms in single-core tasks. For gaming purposes, these differences are irrelevant.

You don’t have a 11700F yet. Plan to upgrade the entire platform over the next few years.
