Considering a fresh paste option, I often use NT-H2 and sometimes MX4. Master Gel seemed promising. Worth the premium? Thermal Grizzly offers extra value? Also, thermal pads—what do you think? Also, Innovation Cooling Graphite Thermal Pad is available as a 40x40mm alternative to paste or grease.
I appreciate the reusability, it would be useful for benchmark data sheets. Noctua has consistently produced quality products, yet I’m curious about the Master Gel. It seems unlikely to be such a bad choice, especially since AMD developed the Wraith Prism cooler with Cooler Master.
I purchased a brand new Wraith Prism from a seller on Marketplace last night for $15. It came with AMD thermal paste (or likely from the same manufacturer). After running some tests, I removed it and applied NT-H2; unfortunately, it ran out. However, I believe the AMD paste helped keep things cooler, possibly by 2-3°C. I plan to try a Cooler Master model since I like their products and have used them before.

In fact, the type of thermal paste isn't that important as long as it brings you satisfaction.

Using a lower-quality paste won't cause overheating, and simply switching to a higher-quality one won't fix heat issues.
