It's a confirmed 4.7Ghz all-core performance on the 9900K compared to a solid 5Ghz all-core on the 9900KS. Unless your game is extremely CPU-intensive and uses few cores, this change likely won't justify the cost. You may want to attempt overclocking the 9900K to approach a 5Ghz all-core speed.

It's not worth it. If you can afford to spend money upgrading from a 9900k to a ks, then a new graphics card shouldn't be a problem. Hold off until the 10th generation or Ryzen if you really want a better CPU.

It's highly probable your K can operate efficiently at KS levels, the KS being assured of this. You're essentially facing only a 6% variation, which could justify the additional cost depending on your needs.
