I could be running late to this thread, but adjusting your 8600k might help reach 5ghz—results are uncertain. I’m currently at [email protected] with a notcua D-15 and a delidded processor. I feel like I’ve hit the silicon lottery for my chip.

I might be a bit late to this discussion, but adjusting your 8600k could help reach 5ghz—results are unpredictable. I currently have it running at 5ghz with 1.295v and a notcua D-15, while my processor is fully functional. I feel like I've hit the right chip for me.

I'm running at 4.8GHz, 1.270 v, with 2 avx offsets. After the Intel burn test at maximum stress, temperatures reached 86°C, though I only played mostly so they stayed near 60°C and idled around 30°C. I'm using an H100i cooler but might switch to a Noctua 15s for better performance.
