The Gigabyte one I have heard people say that it lacks heatsinks, while the Asus one does have them by the looks of it. The Asus one is also a bit more expensive, but is a B660M variant. Is there any reason I should pick the Asus one over the Gigabyte motherboard? Looking to combine the motherboard with i5-13600KF, 4070, and DDR4 in a rather bugetish build. Would appreciate any suggestions however, if there is something better than is not much more expensive and not over 150 euros on average in any place in Europe.

I would choose the DDR4 model from Gigabyte B760M GAMING X AX DDR4. This seems to be the correct option, as the DDR5 version appears significantly inferior compared to the DDR4 one you mentioned.

You're wondering about the pricing differences between the Gigabyte models. The 165 euros for the one you mentioned is about 50 euros more than the B760M version. Regarding the AX feature, it seems important for you, as the non-AX version still works well. Whether AX is essential depends on your needs—some users consider it a must, while others think the non-AX option is just as satisfactory.

the ax refers to gigabytes, but you could say it's just a way of saying 'wifi'—unless you want the non-'ax' option
