The AP, especially when purchased individually, comes with a POE injector that boosts the data link. Ensure the "LAN" port connects to the router and the "POE" port connects to the AP.

It would be nice to upgrade to 5GHz, but devices like the Broadlink Mini, Ring doorbell, smart plugs, etc., only support 2.4GHz. My laptop also doesn’t work that way. I might try opening it and using a dual card. It seems like the only thing I can manage is that.

The P17Fv5 by Gigabyte caught my attention because it didn’t come with a 5GHz clock speed, which was unexpected given what I expected.
