Hey there, newcomer. Your Ryzen 5 5600 CPU is working fine, but the benchmark results you're seeing might be affected by how the software interprets it. The numbers you got from Cinebench could be lower than expected because of differences in testing methods or system configurations. Check your BIOS settings and ensure everything is properly recognized. Also, make sure your system drivers are up to date. If you're still unsure, compare your specs with the official AMD benchmarks for this model.

No, I didn't disable cores in the BIOS.

I'm not sure about that, but how do I access the settings?

Execute CPU-Z and capture the display from the CPU section.

I believe I didn’t alter anything, I simply enabled xmp and adjusted my RAM to 3200 MHz that’s the whole story.

The details on that component: AMD Ryzen 5 5600 - Ryzen 5 5000 Series Vermeer (Zen 3) 6-core 3.5 GHz Socket AM4 65W No Integrated Graphics Desktop Processor - 100-100000927BOX - Newegg.com You seem to have an inconsistency, appears two cores are turned off according to your CPU-Z screenshot BUT I noticed you also updated the BIOS. Since you updated the BIOS, it implies that all configurations when the flash was applied were restored to the standard settings, indicating that all cores should be active. If you rebooted the system and allowed it to initialize with the new processor before installation, then the machine likely set itself to the chip present at the time of the flash. Proceed by saving your current configuration as a profile in the BIOS so you can restore it later without loss. Name it clearly so you recognize it as the profile you just created. Only create this profile right now; otherwise, you’ll need to test it after all adjustments. Now, once you’ve saved the profile and confirmed it’s set, revert all BIOS parameters back to their default state (load optimal settings), press F10 to save, and then restart the OS to verify in CPU-Z. You might need to tweak a few settings to ensure proper booting and observe any changes. If errors persist after reconfiguration, it could point to a hardware fault or an incorrect BIOS file. If all cores appear again, the issue likely lies in previous BIOS adjustments. Alternatively, a faulty chip or board could be responsible, or the flash file itself might be defective. Should multiple cores become active, it suggests a misconfiguration in earlier settings. If not, further investigation may be required to confirm hardware integrity. Re-flashing with the new processor can also resolve the problem, as the chip type influences initial setup.]

2 cores with 4 threads seems incorrect. Try disconnecting the power supply and removing the battery. Also reset the CMOS at the same time. Don’t stress about XMP right away.
