I’m aiming for a complete ATX setup and the Pro 4 costs around $170 on Amazon JP. I’m targeting a budget of $100–125, so I thought these two B450 boards fit the bill.

Checking the B450 steel and tom around $10 each, both under $100, seems reasonable. For someone who isn’t a hardcore or heavy gamer, the distinction might not matter much.

The B450 Steel Legend isn't the top choice for long-term performance. It works decently on the 3600, but it may not be ideal if you plan to upgrade later to a 12 or 16 core processor. Among the more affordable B450 boards, the MSI B450 Tomahawk Max stands out as the best option. Check out the recommended video for more details.
