Compare B550 and X570 models to see their differences.
Hello, I'm having difficulty picking a motherboard for a 4th gen Ryzen 5 or 7 if I end up with a lot of money. The store I'm considering (arvutitark.ee) has six similar models priced around the same amount (just under 200€), though there are cheaper options for 4th generation CPUs that I'd like to upgrade later. I need something I can upgrade into if I want to. Here are some options: M-series X570-A Pro, ASUS TUF Gaming X570 Plus, Gigabyte X570 Gaming X, ASUS ROG Strix B550-F Gaming (WiFi), Gigabyte B550 AORUS PRO AC, and ASRock B550 Steel Legend. Please help me!
I’d likely receive the B550-F model. Avoid the X570-A Pro and the X570 Gaming X.
Asus TUF, Strix B550-F, and Steel Legend make solid selections. Think about alternatives if they offer lower costs, such as the B550 Tomohawk or models from MSI like Mortar. All these options should provide sufficient power delivery and cooling. If you don’t require the additional PCIe 4.0 lanes on X570 and they’re priced similarly, choose the one with superior I/O, extra features, or the style you prefer.
